Empower Yourself by Giving Back

Griffinites don’t forget to give your brother or sister a hand up this holiday season.

You can do that by volunteering at a local charity or shelter whose mission you agree with, or visit  www.naacp.org to find out how to help the leading civil rights organization in the nation.

Don’t leave charity up to the ballers, rappers or those who you think are making bank.  Even if things are tight financially, there are ways to give back to the community.

Giving those less fortunate than you a few hours of your time, attention and kind encouragement, is just as valuable as the ability to give kicks, toys, video games, or material objects.

The holidays are a fun time for some, but a hard time for others.  So make it a regular practice to give back during the holidays and teach your little ones to do the same.
